Well, fall is in the air and it is time for our 300 year old/75 foot red oak to drop all of it’s acorns on le terrain. We already have a couple of undulations and roots on our piste for the unweary bouliste but now we will have a newly added dimension of hundreds of natures boule deflectors to confound our lobs. What a great way to spent the day in your backyard. Be sure to wear a hat for the larger acorns will wake you up.

On behalf of the group, I’d like to say that we really appreciate the friendly reception you and the rest of the greater petanque community have extended to our small fledgling club.

I think that some of us are planning to make the trek to Chicago for the Fall Dublets tournament in September.

A big welcome from The Chicago Petanque Club to PetanqueLouisville.
We wish you much success and look forward to getting together with you and lobbing a few.

We are also a new group to the sport of petanque. Even though we have members ranging from the European-experienced to the very “newbie” player, we all just got the club up and running earlier this year.

You are most welcomed to join us anytime. Let us know when any of your members are in the Chicago area.
