Sundays in the Park
Wednesday, May 21st, 2008Wow! On Sunday, we had a great turn out on our new terrain in Seneca Park with Alliance Francaise Louisville. Petanque Louisville would like to invite everyone to the terrain every Sunday From 2p to ?? PL will have extra boule available for those interested in playing. Check out the website for directions and some great photos of the terrain construction.

Voila! Louisville Metro’s First Terrain
Monday, November 5th, 2007It is with great thanks to those in the Louisville Metro Parks Department that we announce the first public petanque terrain. Ok, well, officially we have to share the space with volleyball, but a terrain nonetheless. It’s located in Seneca Park just east of the tennis courts. I’ll include some photos and a Google Earth file below.

Wednesday, May 9th, 2007In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Pétanque, Alliance Française Louisville and pétanque Louisville will host an afternoon of Pétanque and Picnicking on the grounds of St. Matthews Elementary School. Please bring your own picnic, blanket, chairs, beverages, boules, etc. For us, this will be the first pétanque outing of the year. We hope to see you there.
