Chicago – Petanque Tournament

We’re in Chicago (Oak Park, IL) for the doublettes tournament. We’ll keep you posted.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, rain delayed the tournament twice. First, for only a couple of hours. Then the rest of the afternoon. Sadly, we couldn’t stay through sunday to finish the qualification round. We had a great time despite the rain. We enjoyed meeting all of the talented boulistes from Chicago and Michigan, and look forward to playing together again sometime soon. Say in Louisville. See you soon.

    I hope you don’t mind, I posted your excellent photos on the Midwest Petanque Alliance BLOG (saw them on FLICKR). Yours are the first from the big tournament, and I see you’ve really captures the essence of the event’s conditions… Bravo!
